Jade-Ruyu Yan  閻如玉

I'm an investigative journalist from Hong Kong, based in London. I use reporting, data, and open-source techniques to look into corporations. I am currently reporting on AI developments for Computer Weekly, and am an investigator for AI watchdog The Midas Project.

If you have a tip or work in a relevant industry and want to talk, please get in touch (email and LinkedIn below).

I was previously an open-source researcher and reporter with investigative media company Project Brazen, and a business reporter focusing on corporate ethics for Ad Age. My journalism has also been published in The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, Crain's Chicago Business, The South Side Weekly, The Peoria-Journal Star, Being Patient, The Associated Press, City Bureau, and other publications.

I complain about corporations (and government) on my Substack, PR Disaster: https://prdisaster.substack.com/

My Bluesky is: @fangsonggongzhu.
